The reports, guides and CPD material on this site are written and edited in house. We do the same work for other organisations, and hold it to the same standard.
Research, guides and CPD for the people who own, run and work in Australian general practice.
Research on how general practice is owned, financed and traded, drawn from our own national dataset.
Business and governance guides written for the people who own and run practices, not for their accountants or lawyers.
Quality improvement material a whole practice team can use, structured so it earns CPD.
A short weekly read on the moves that matter in the business of general practice.
We help experienced GPs and sector operators write down what they know.
Many of our contributors have decades of pattern recognition they have never had reason to write down. We work from what they have seen rather than their opinion on a topic: what they tried, what failed, what they would tell a colleague who asked. We take that back to the evidence, so a piece carries the mechanism as well as the story, and we check the claims that get repeated around the sector without a source behind them.
Then it gets specific, because a general principle changes little on its own. We draft, the author corrects, and nothing goes out under their name until they are happy with it.
Clear, well-sourced writing for health organisations that need to be trusted.
Patient and consumer material, clinician-facing content, evidence summaries and position documents. We keep a clear line between what the evidence supports and what an organisation would like to claim. Current work includes treatment and device information for a condition-specific health charity, written for both patients and clinicians.
Every claim is tied to a named source, and anything we cannot support comes out. Nothing is published under a clinician's name without their sign-off. Our readers are doctors, operators and policy people who check what they read, and we write for them.
Tell us what you are trying to work out and we will tell you whether we can help.
