What we build

Four kinds of work, chosen to fit where you are. Most projects start with the first and add the others as they are needed.

Targeting models

Every practice, in a state or nationally, is scored and ranked against criteria that tend to predict uptake for a specific product or program: catchment burden, patient mix, on-site capability, current billing behaviour and ownership. You get a ranked call list with the reasoning attached, plus an ownership overlay that separates head office conversations from site-by-site calls.

Burden and opportunity mapping

Where disease burden, service gap and practice capability overlap at catchment level, drawn from national datasets and mapped to the practices in each area.

Program design

The activity you are asking a practice to take on, built to fit how a practice already works: the protocol, the quality improvement structure, the CPD and incentive pathway, the billing route, and the materials the practice team needs to deliver it.

Evidence and publication

Where the work is designed to produce evidence, we structure the evaluation, coordinate the clinical authors, prepare the ethics submission and manage the analysis through to publication and sector reporting.

How we work with you

Staged, priced up front, and built on people as well as data.

Staged, with decision points

We stage the work with a clear output at each step and a decision point between them. The first step is usually the data: a ranked list your team can start calling from, which earns its keep whether or not the later steps go ahead.

Priced before we start

We quote scope, price and timeline before any work begins, so you can decide one step at a time.

People as well as data

The work draws on our consultants as much as our datasets: general practice, rural medicine, practice operations, health law and public health. You can bring them in through Medius as part of a project or as advisers to it.
