Who we work with

We work with GP practice owners and managers across four situations: improving how the practice runs day to day, acquiring another practice or related health business, structuring an internal sale to associate GPs or incoming partners, and preparing for sale to a corporate or external buyer.

Our clients have stable operations and established GP workforces. We don't work with distressed practices, partnership disputes requiring urgent resolution, or practices with fundamental viability issues. Our services assume basic operational stability.

How we work

Most services are fixed scope with quoted pricing. You'll know the cost, timeline and deliverable before engagement. We are happy to bill hourly too as well as provide ongoing advisory relationships.

Engagements typically begin with an assessment: either the free online sale readiness tool or a paid facilitated diagnostic. This identifies gaps across financial, compliance, operational and governance domains. Remediation services address identified gaps through specialist inputs coordinated by us.

We work alongside your accountant, lawyer and other advisors. We don't replace these relationships. We coordinate across them so the owner or manager is not the one holding the threads.

Experience

Our experience covers GP practice operations, business development, M&A processes and healthcare regulatory environments. We've worked with medical colleges, aged care and GP associations, health insurance funds, corporate and group practices, and health ventures across operations, succession planning and market entry.

This background informs our understanding of what acquirers assess in due diligence, what lenders and incoming partners require, and what operational improvement looks like in general practice.

Consultants

Our consulting team brings deep experience across general practice operations, M&A, governance, medical education and healthcare strategy.
